Since the turn of the millenium, inspired by the potential of regenerative energies, the Utz group has followed the emergence and establishment of industries in photovoltaics and solar thermal energy, electric mobility, and fuel cell technology from an automation high volume production point of view.
Engineering of assembly equipment – the groups’s major business focus - for fuel cells and units was concentrated at the location in Korb until the merger of the FIX Maschinenbau GmbH with USK in 2012. With many activities in the field of pre-development, engineering focused on fundamentals in design, assembly technology and systems engineering that received recognition in the business. more>
Continuing this work, USK is committed to solving the challenges of moving from prototype assemblies to fully automated high-volume assemblies and to providing comprehensive customer support in this endeavour.
Based on our photovoltaics experience and automotive excellence, the firm’s activities involve
All of these activities are as complex as those in the assembly of the combustion motors for which we have successfully supplied equipment and systems.
Our goal is to create scalable solutions in order to provide for all stages of production – from manual prototype production up to fully automated high-volume production.
