The USK Karl Utz Sondermaschinen GmbH has appointed Gerhard Glanz, born in Austria, as a new managing director and CEO effective 1 March 2015.
On 16 July 2014, Dr. Hans-Christian Rickauer, Lord Mayer of Limbach-Oberfrohna, presented Holger Kühne, USK managing director, with the badge of honour of Limbach-Oberfrohna. This award recognises USK’s commitment to sustainably strengthening the Limbach-Oberfrohna industrial location.
On 18 June 2014, the Volkswagen Group awarded its best suppliers the “Volkswagen Group Award 2014“. Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen AG, and Dr. Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz, member of the Volkswagen Board of Management with responsibility for procurement, presented the awards to 18 of the best Volkswagen suppliers to recognise their overall performance. The prize was presented at a gala performance held in the Porsche plant in Leipzig including more than 250 guests from 28 countries.
Limbach-Oberfrohna, 31 March 2014: Today, the USK Karl Utz Sonder-maschinen GmbH, a member of the Utz Group, ceremonially opened a new location in Limbach-Oberfrohna near Chemnitz with the participation of Stanislaw Tillich, Prime Minister of the Saxon Free State.
